We are so happy that we stayed in John’s place for our trip! We felt very safe, yet everything was walkable. The location was perfect, and so was the unit. We would definitely stay again!

My HS daughter and I had a wonderful stay in #4. Communication was wonderful, the pool area was awesome to have, the neighbors were all so kind, the location was right in the heart of everything in Fort Lauderdale by the Sea. We loved the smoothie place, bakery and coffee just next door, a walkable Walgreens and Publix, gelato across the street, free included parking, beach items and easy to use washer and dryer area. We had absolutely every little thing we could ever need for our mother/daughter spring break. We will be back!

We really enjoyed staying at this property! The place was very well maintained and comfortable for a one week stay. Pros: The location is very walkable to the beach, shops and many restaurants. We really appreciated the provided beach towels and chairs! The apartment was well appointed with food and personal care items and the pool was a fun spot to relax in the afternoon. The onsite free laundry was much appreciated!Our only minor issues were an on and off weak WiFi connection, and the AC was VERY loud when it kicked on, so if you are a light sleeper I wouldn’t recommend sleeping on the pullout couch. But those were very minor and we would definitely return again!

We booked a last minute trip toJohn’s place and thankfully he had a room for my adult son and I. There was a king bed and a pull out couch that was comfortable. Immediately, John greeted us, showed us around and the place was spotless! During our stay, the room had everything we needed from beach chairs, coolers and John even provided some wine and snacks for when we arrived. We had a little mishap (completely our fault)and burned the dish dryer cloth on one of the burners. John cleaned the burner the next day and was so kind about our mistake. John and his wife are the owners of the property and live on site. They take great pride in the place and it shows. It was a block from the Lauderdale on the Beach square where there are great restaurants and shops and the beach. We will definitely stay here again (hopefully soon as we LOVED our stay)! John, the host, goes above and beyond. He accommodated us last minute when our flight was cancelled and we ended up in Fort Lauderdale for the week instead of where we're were headed. Despite the fact that he was in Miami having dinner with friends, he rushed back to clean a room for us and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The Inn is really cute, and Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is nice and provided the rest and relaxation we needed for the week. Highly recommend!

This was a nice apartment in easy walking distance of restaurants, the downtown park area, and the beach. John was very attentive and helpful, and he gave us a late checkout because our flight wasn't leaving until evening. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Instead of staying at a nearby hotel, we decided to take a chance with an AirB&B and so glad we did! The unit is completely updated, extremely clean and well stocked with plenty of bath towels as well as beach/pool towels. Beach chairs are available for every unit. Loved the walk-in closet! The bed is super comfortable. John greeted us when we arrived and couldn’t have been more gracious and accommodating! Location is perfect too! Needless to say, we absolutely will be back!!!

This Condo is an among the best experiences we have had so far with either Airbnb or VRBO, and we have had a lot of of them. The unit was in perfect shape and had many nice touches, including a nice little welcome package on the kitchen counter when we arrived. I have been visiting LBTS for over 2decades on & off, staying at different venues. My first time at Sea Suites, and it was 1 incredible experience in hosting, privacy, cleanliness, accommodation after a weather issue up north, etc. John & his wife are the ultimate pros here. This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. It is incredibly clean with many extra touches. John is a fantastic host and responded immediately when we asked a question or needed something. The location is very special. Any restaurants, bars, and activities, nearby – all within walking distance. Of course, most important, across the street from the beach! We highly recommend!

Owners live on the premises & tend to every need. Wonderful people, very friendly & accommodating. It’s a small quaint Airbnb with 10 units. We met some great people at the pool which was steps from our unit. Beach, restaurants & grocery store are walkable. Very enjoyable stay. Would definitely come again!!

The Sea Star Suite was the perfect place for our visit to Lauderdale by the Sea.The unit was the perfect size. We found the king bed to be very comfortable. The place was very clean. We didn’t have any issues with the rental. Great location and the heated pool was perfect!!

He periodically checked in to ensure everything was going smoothly and to see if we needed anything. He even came down one evening to help us figure out the TV, which we really appreciated. The pool was very nice and clean, as was the unit itself. The unit is updated and comfortable. The location is super convenient to the beach and several great restaurants. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back for another visit!

My daughter and I ended up being stranded in FL due to weather back home. We found this property and messaged the owner with a few questions. She was quick to respond and approved our booking asap. The property was super cute and felt very safe. We had our own parking space and there was a secure gate leading onto the property. As we entered the courtyard it was adorable and pristine. The pool was clean, the fountain was running, and the furniture made it feel very welcoming. As we entered our unit we were greeted with some snacks, drinks, and a bottle of wine. The unit was immaculate and they thought of everything! The kitchen was well stocked and they even had beach chairs, a cooler, and an umbrella available in the utility closet for our use. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and the beach. All were within 2 blocks. We were so happy we stumbled upon this property! We would 100% book again!

All I’m going to say is Ioan was a lifesaver. After countless failed attempts with other Airbnbs during a very busy season, we’re beyond grateful he accepted us. Host was super friendly and helpful. He let us check in early without hesitation. The place was very clean and comfortable and we would stay here again! The only thing I would recommend is for the house rules to be updated as it states you have access to the grill which I guess was not the case since we were told in the middle of grilling dinner, that the grill was not for guests. He still allowed us to finish using it which I appreciate however it made us feel like we were breaking the rules. Otherwise 10/10 stay!

Amazing and peaceful stay at this beach town gem! Super quiet, even during New Year’s Eve week, but so close to everything and just a short walk to the beautiful beach. Our hosts were so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Well equipped kitchen and we made good use of it for many meals while splurging on ice cream and other treats in town. Great place for kids with heated pool and pull out couch. Would love to return!

Loan’s place is in a perfect location walkable to lots of shops and restaurants, and the beach is only 3 blocks away. Very clean and cute. Heated pool. Loan stays on the premises so is available anytime to help or answer questions, extremely friendly, would highly recommend this place for your vacation.

The location was perfect! Easy access to local eateries and bars. Blocks from the beach. Very nice swimming pool and lounge area. We did not use it, but it was very inviting. The unit was fully stocked with all that you needed and more. Super clean and comfortable. Perfect weekend getaway for couples!

We absolutely loved our stay! We came with our 5-year-old and 2-month-old, and Loan went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable—they even provided a pack and play for the baby, which was such a thoughtful touch. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed: beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and more towels than we could ever use—so convenient! Next time, I’ll definitely pack lighter.The location couldn’t have been better—just minutes from the beach and surrounded by great shops and restaurants. It’s a peaceful, charming town with just the right amount of liveliness. We rented a car but barely used it since everything was so walkable.The place itself was super clean and well-maintained. We especially loved relaxing in the heated pool—it was the perfect way to unwind. We’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend!

Sea Star suites was a perfect location to explore Lauderdale-by-the-sea! Just a short walk down to the beach and many restaurants along the way. The best part of the stay was definitely the heated pool! Warm and comfortable, even though it was cloudy and chilly our first day. John was very welcoming and responsive, even though I had questions after arriving close to midnight. He greeted us in person the next day and was always helpful and responsive when I had questions. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting LBTS!

We had a great time! The heated pool was awesome. The unit was clean and had everything we needed to cook and prepare meals. The sofa bed worked well for my son. The decor was delightful. It’s a short walk to all the restaurants and the beach. The Mexican restaurant is the best we’ve ever had. Vinnie’s has great food and live music. We also enjoyed Fort Lauderdale Beach and exploring at night. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. My son left his duffel bag in the parking lot and they are going to ship it to me.

We loved our stay. John was always around and made it seem like a community. We enjoyed chatting with those in his other units as well. The pool was the perfect temperature and everything was clean. It was a short walk to everything we needed. Perfect for 3 people to enjoy and relax.

This was not my first stayed here and it for sure will not be my last. The location is great you can walk to anything you need shops, restaurants and the beautiful beach. This place also has everything you need for a beach getaway from beach towels to beach chairs for you to use. And did I mention the pool is kept at the perfect temperature and a great place to lay out and get some sun. The host was great and by the end of the trip I was ready to plan my next trip back.

A Really Great Stay! This is our 4th time to Lauderdale By The Sea, but our first to this property. We will definitely come back. Great location to the main area of LBTS, property was clean, decorated very well, had everything we needed, and the owners were very thoughtful with providing a welcome package. A very big deal to me when traveling is getting good sleep, so I really appreciated the good mattress!

John was the most responsive host we’ve ever had. He lives on site! We had an issue with our bed sheets, and John fixed it immediately. The place was smaller than the photos showed but we did fine. It’s a very safe area. The pool was clean and warm. Friendly people rented the rest of the apartments so we could chat while at the pool. We walked to restaurants, bars, the beach, stores, etc. You do not need a car! I highly recommend John’s place and we will definitely be back!

Paradise John was the nicest host that I have ever encountered and I rent VRBO’s a few times a year. The place was very clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was perfect and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. The pool was perfect and it’s only a block from the beach. This is probably my favorite VRBO that I’ve ever stayed at, and I will return again!! Love Love Love this property!!!

Ioan (John) and Angelica have a beautiful gem in the Sea Star Suites! Our family of four spent 5 nights in Unit 10 and had a wonderful experience. The unit is perfect for a family of our size, with each bedroom having an en suite bath. Both came stocked with towels, soap, shampoo and even extra toothbrushes. The unit was clean and comfortable, as was the pool area. The location is great- half a block from a wonderful coffee shop and 2 blocks from the adorable downtown area and beach.The easily accessible washer had broken at our arrival and within 24 hours Ioan had a new unit installed and communicated with us. We cannot say enough great things about our stay. Thank you Ioan and Angelica!

Just a Lovely Vacation Spot Excellent experience. Quite impressed with the high standard of cleanliness not only of our space but of the overall property. This is my family’s second stay at Sea Star and it was fantastic! Loan went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and even offered us extra beach chairs and a wagon! The location is fantastic, it’s close enough to all of the restaurants and a short walk to the beach but it is off of the busy street and situated in a peaceful and private area.

Hi can’t imagine staying anywhere else after having stayed here. Loan was an amazing host always on top of things, works so hard and the property reflects his love and hard work.  location was fantastic. Easy walk to beach easy walk to great restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay. I had previously stayed beachfront and I can tell you that did not get near the attention or nice amenities that I found at Loan’s place.  And he seems to attract nice people as all the other guests were just as friendly and kind as he. Really nice stay.  Juice bar within about 25 feet of our room as well as a great Thai restaurant and then another 20 dining facilities within short walking distance.  I almost want to keep this secret to myself.

Ioan was a great host! He was welcoming, and we saw him regularly so we were able to ask questions about the area. We had one minor issue and he resolved it quickly. Will definitely be back!

The welcome basket was a nice touch too. 👌🏾They also included utensils and dishes to cook meals. Dish soap was there to clean up after any culinary adventure session.The bedroom had plenty of room with a nice-sized closet. The bathroom was also adequate. Plus, they included a disposable toothbrush and soap dispenser in the shower. The Wi-Fi speeds are good also.I didn't use it, but the pool looked well maintained.I cannot stress this enough: This property 100% EARNS their five-star ratings. I stumbled across this as I booked my SoFl accommodations at the 11th hour. It's worth every penny, and the attention to details elevates this property above other properties. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The unit was very modern and beautifully decorated. It was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Rooms were very spacious. The kitchen and bathrooms were equipped with everything needed. The host greeted us upon arrival. A welcome bottle of wine and various snacks were available for us to enjoy. The location was very walkable - to the beach, restaurants and shops, steps away from the centre of Lauderdale by the Sea in a very safe neighbourhood. Definitely would stay here again. The pool area is amazing, clean and inviting! What a great way to end a beach day with a swim in the pool and cocktails! Location couldn’t be better, walking distance to everything but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful from the town! We couldn’t of asked for a better vacation! This property would be great for family reunions, destination weddings, birthdays, etc. We can’t say enough good things about this property and the hosts! We loved it! The location is great, just a short walk to downtown Lauderdale-by-the-sea. Definitely a great place to stay for a beach vacation. Highly recommend!

Amazing We’ve stayed at many vrbo locations. If you are looking for cleanliness, look no further. The room even had a lovely aroma upon entry. John is onsite and extremely polite. He stays onsite most of the time and is extremely prompt when asked questions. The pool is very clean and you are three blocks from downtown LBS. Five stars.

Great location, close to everything, just few minutes to the beach. The place was very clean, has everything you need including beach towels, umbrella and chairs. Very comfortable bed!!! The kitchen has all you need. Also, had some snacks, bottles of water and even a bottle of wine! Bathroom was super clean and had all toiletries needed including toothbrush and toothpaste! And special John was super friendly and responsive. He let me do earlier check in and late check out, any questions was answered within a few minutes. I will definitely will be back. Highly recommend!!!

This stay was fabulous for girls weekend at the festival. Pool was great for relaxing! Recommend over and over and will return myself!

What a great Air BnB. We came for Tortuga Musical festival and didn’t want to pay the high prices right next to the event. John allowed early check in which was such a nice touch so we didn’t have to part somewhere random and do an Uber to the event. He welcomed us on-site and had a cute welcome basket with snacks and a bottle of wine with a couple bottles of water and soda in the fridge. Plenty of towels and hygiene items on hand. The location was within walking distance to lots of restaurants and the beach. The pool area was well kept and relaxing. We would definitely come again.

Staying at this apartment was a dream. Access to a clean private pool and a few blocks from the beach, it was ideal! John was an excellent host, always responsive and accommodating for our family needs - early check in and two pack and plays. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for a little escape!

Our stay was perfect. We have stayed at several Airbnb‘s and this host was the most accommodating and responsive. He met us right as we were walking in. Showed us all around our unit and was available for whatever we needed. Unit was completely updated with everything we needed. Walkable to all the restaurants and shops on Commercial Boulevard. Perfect location. We look forward to coming back again!

This place was incredible, looks exactly like the pictures. Perfect location. There was even a murder mystery book for me to take and read at the beach. Beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels also. We will definitely be back.

The room was exactly as advertised. Just a few blocks from the beach, great restaurants and a clean and refreshing pool. It was easy to get in touch with Ioan and he greeted us with a smile and positivity every time we saw him. This is such a great beach town for a family vacation and I would recommend staying here without a doubt.

What wonderful hosts! We had just left the airport in our rental car when we learned that we could not stay in the Air BnB we had booked due to an apparent repair mishap. The hosts had not planned on booking this unit for the beginning of our stay, but shuffled their schedule around last minute to get it ready for us and to, frankly, save our vacation.They are warm, kind, lovely people who have created a beautiful tranquil environment. The apartment itself had everything we needed, was clean, and comfortable. The location is fantastic. Safe and easy close walk to the beach.Highly recommend!

Excellent, in one simple word.
Hosts, Angelica and John, are very nice and friendly.
Location is a 5 minutes walk to the beach. Lots of restaurants just around the corner.
The resort is equipped with everything you need, including beach stuff like towels, umbrella and chairs.
The pull is a beauty, with a small water fall, chairs and umbrellas all around.
All is left for you to do is enjoy your vacation.
Definitely we will go back.

Ioan (John) and his wife were amazing hosts. They live on site so they were always there to answer any questions we had throughout the stay. They were very flexible and accommodating for our needs. Beautiful and peaceful pool area, comfortable lounge chairs, plenty of patio furniture to choose from. Minutes walk to the beach, local restaurants, shops, etc. It was the perfect spring break getaway and we can’t wait to go back!

Great location just a couple blocks away from downtown and the beach! John was very responsive and even brought a dessert his wife baked over one evening. Nice and clean and quiet!

We really enjoyed our stay. It felt like home, away from home! Place was clean and well maintained. Many extra ammenities were stocked in the kitchen. Peaceful place to stay as it was only 10 units, so it wasn't crowded with too many people. Great location, Commercial Boulevard right down to the beach has everything you could ask for! Ioan was very friendly, attentive to our needs, and was readily available for any questions we had. You feel right at home staying here. I would highly recommend staying here to others, and plan to come back in the future!

I can’t say enough great things about this property. Perfect location a couple blocks from the beach. Beautiful shared pool with very well managed and comfortable pool furniture. The entire place was extremely clean and comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom had all the amenities you would need. Owner was extremely accommodating, responsive, and friendly. Helped us right away with a flexible check in, and he personally brought us additional beach supplies before we spent the day at the beach. They go above in beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. We can’t wait to go back and stay here again.

This place was wonderful! There were 3 of us for a girls trip. It was the perfect location. Adorable and clean place! Was a very short walk to the beach and all the restaurants/shops. Owners were very flexible with check in and check out. They were so kind and caring. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to friends and family!

This rental is in an excellent location! Enjoy the beach and restaurants with a short walk of about 5 minutes. The pool area is a great place to relax, as well! The host supplies things like beach chairs, beach towels, and other things that cannot be brought on a plane! This made the trip extra enjoyable. I highly recommend this rental.

John (Loan) and Angelica were very hospitable hosts. We felt very welcome and at home at this property. They live in one of the units and you can definitely tell they care about keeping it nice and taking care of their guests.

L'endroit nous manque déjà, nous avons adoré séjourner chez Ioan et Angelica. Tout était propre et bien rangé, les restaurants sont juste à côté et la plage est à 5 minutes de marche! Il y avait tout le nécessaire pour une journée à la plage: des serviettes, des chaises et un parasol. Nous avons bien aimé la piscine qui est chauffée. Sea Star Paradise They should rename this beautiful property Sea Star Paradise. We throughly enjoyed and appreciated this unique boutique experience. The on-property hosts were beyond friendly and accommodating. Poolside is a tropical oasis and we made some great friends, some of whom were very welcoming long term residents. The town of Lauderdale -by-the Sea is full of fun restaurants, gorgeous uncrowded beach and cool bar scene. We will be returning!

The space was beautiful, inviting and wonderfully located. Ioan and Angelica were great hosts, easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The unit is walkable to the beach, many restaurants and approximately 12 mins to Publix if you don't have a car. The space has everything needed to enjoy LBTS from beach chairs/towels/cooler to toiletries and onsite laundry to help travellers that travel lightly. Outstanding!!! Ioan provides a pristine rental with all needed amenities including things like toothpaste and toothbrush, shower products, beach chairs and towels…all the things you need but can’t bring on a plane. He and his wife are responsive, flexible, friendly and proactive but also leave you complete privacy. We used the kitchen to make breakfast and lunch and then walked or took an Uber to the endless restaurants and activities in the area. We didn’t even need to rent a car because the location is so ideal. The pool is lovely and a great place to relax each day. Finally, we had an evening flight home and Ioan let us continue to enjoy the pool and area even after checkout. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you!!

We had the perfect stay. John was so accommodating and friendly. The Sea Star had everything you would need for a weekend get away or extended stay! Full kitchen, living area, beautiful bathroom and all the extras like beach chairs, towels and even a welcoming bottle of wine!
